Darrin Trindall, is a Gomeroi/Kamilaroi Murri from Narrabri, NSW.
Aboriginal people have traditional forms of communication – oral storytelling and song as well as visual communication represented through drawings, paintings and the use of ceremonial designs.
The large number of unmarked graves in Aboriginal communities, respect for heritage and the high cost charged by funeral companies motivated Darrin to create his own business and support Aboriginal people wishing to pay their respect to their family and friends.
What we Do
Dabtari provides quality headstones and plaques to assist with the healing process during the loss of a loved one. We understand that everyone has different needs and at a time when you are going through the grieving process, you don’t need the additional stress of having to think about a headstone or plaque.
At Dabtari, we allow you the time to talk to others about how you would like your loved one to be acknowledged and remembered.
We can help you take the time to consider the materials, the inscription and design in your own time. Darrin specialises in Aboriginal headstones and plaques and as an indigenous person himself understands the needs of his people. Your own designs and ideas can be incorporated at no extra cost.
